Hello, my name is Adiel Hercules,
I work as Software Engineer since 2012. I have worked for several companies during my career and I have helped build dozens of products.
I was born in El Salvador but I relocated to The Netherlands recently.
Who I am
I am a passionate, creative and self-learning Front-End Engineer who loves to work in environments using top-notch technologies and to be challenged every day.
I having over 10 years of experience as a front-end developer working with HTML, CSS and Javascript, I have been working mainly with React for the last 6 years, technology stack and experience which allowed me led a team of front-end engineers to build a holistic training and reporting system for police stations in the US while working at Applaudo Studios and also to landed a remote job in a US based company 3 years ago.
During my time as a front-end I also have been able to learn and polish the following skills:

I can work confidently with Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, PSD or any design tool while implementing UI components or just creating markup for any purpose: landing pages, marketing websites, web apps, etc.
I enjoy working with UI development using React, specially when the design is challenging.
I have worked with:
- Wordpress; I can create themes from scratch or just augment functionality in an existing one.
- Shopify: creating modern e-Commerce using liquid (old way) or React (new way).
- Contentful, Sanity; consume data from these headless CMS
- Gatsby; build fully functional websites with high Lighthouse scoring
- Next.js
Even though I consider my self a front-end developer, I have had the opportunity to work with PHP and most recently with Nodejs / Serverless Framework.

Built and maintain a CMS created from scratch using Laravel.
